Loan duo leave Terriers

Joe Garner and Lee Croft have returned to their parent clubs following the end of their loan deals at Huddersfield. Nottingham Forest striker Garner joined the Terriers in July and featured 18 times without scoring, while Derby winger Croft made only five appearances. Town boss Lee Clark told the club's official website: "Joe Garner's deal has now ended and we will be not extending his stay at the club. The same applies for Lee Croft. "We thank the lads for their efforts; Joe Garner has played important roles in some good victories for us this season so his efforts are appreciated. But as a goal scorer you are judged on goals and I need someone that will help Jordan Rhodes in the goal scoring stakes. "Sadly, Lee Croft couldn't achieve the levels I know he can offer. I saw him during my last season with Norwich when he was in sensational form, but during his time with us he wasn't able to produce that. "We may look into the market to see if we can replace both Joe and Lee. I am always looking and I know what type of player I want so if the right player comes up then we may do some business."
