Lee set for Terriers bow

Lee Clark is set to hand striker Alan Lee his Huddersfield debut against Charlton. The 32-year-old has joined the Terriers from Crystal Palace on a two-year deal on Wednesday and is set to make his bow at the Galpharm Stadium, having missed the 5-1 Carling Cup defeat to Everton due to being cup-tied. However, Clark has doubts over goalkeeper Alex Smithies and experienced defender Gary Naysmith after both picked up injuries at Goodison Park on Wednesday. Smithies had to be withdrawn at half-time after suffering a dead leg following a collision with the post, while Naysmith came off after 67 minutes due to a toe problem. Fellow defender Lee Peltier will definitely miss out as he serves a one-match ban following his dismissal against the Toffees.
