Lee: I want a fair battle
Huddersfield striker Alan Lee is hoping referees are not put off by his physical approach.
The former Crystal Palace targetman regularly fell foul of former Premier League whistler Andy D'Urso during last weekend's clash with Leyton Orient.
Lee is hoping David Foster will take a different view of his combative approach when the Tyneside official takes charge of Saturday's match with Yeovil at the Galpharm Stadium.
"I know it's a tough job but I thought I was winning headers fairly and squarely," he told the Huddersfield Examiner in reference to the 2-1 victory at Brisbane Road.
"Their lads were getting into the referee's ear claiming I was fouling them, which wasn't the case at all, then he was telling me to keep my arms down when I didn't think they were going up. It was all very confusing.
"You tend to find as a big striker that when you get pushed in the back, you don't often get the decisions, and all I want is a fair battle for the ball."
