Huddersfield town boss Lee Clark hailed new signing Alan Lee after the striker's debut in the 3-1 win over Charlton. Lee, snapped up this week from Crystal Palace for £350,000, went close to failed but get on the scoresheet. However, Clark said: "He brings a new dimension to the team. "Alan gives us a different dimension and makes life so much easier for his strike partner. "Jordan Rhodes has had a spring in his step since Alan arrived because he knows he doesn't have to be the main battering ram anymore." Rhodes, Jamie McCombe and Gary Roberts were on target for Town with Matt Fry replying late on.
