Joey will be an asset - Booth

Huddersfield legend Andy Booth has backed Joey Gudjonsson to be a success at the Galpharm Stadium. The midfielder has Premier League experience after playing for Burnley last season and has also played in the top divisions in Iceland, Belgium, Holland and Spain. The 30-year-old Iceland international has made four starts for the Terriers, and Booth has been impressed with what he has seen so far. "The manager talked about bringing in a few older heads, and Joey has bags of knowledge," Booth told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner. "He's a strong tackler and a great passer of the ball, but he's also calm and collected and a very good organiser. "Joey's the kind who seems to be talking and passing on tips all the way through a game, and he's also quick to try to defuse flashpoint situations. I think Joey will be a fantastic asset for us."
