Joey has key role to play - Clark

Huddersfield midfielder Joey Gudjonsson has a big role to play in the club's promotion push this season, according to manager Lee Clark. Clark expects the Iceland international to shake off a hamstring strain which forced him out of the action in Saturday's home draw with Peterborough after replacing on-loan Bolton striker Danny Ward at half-time. "Joey can be a key player for us over the remaining matches," Clark said. "He was unfortunate not to be in the starting side against Peterborough and played his part while he was on the pitch." Former Aston Villa, Wolves and Leicester midfielder Gudjonsson, 30, has been a virtual ever-present in Clark's side this season after arriving on a free transfer from Burnley last June.
