Terriers wait on Vaughan

Huddersfield striker James Vaughan is hoping to overcome injury in time for the home game against Yeovil.

Town's leading goalscorer missed the Boxing Day draw against Derby after taking a knock to his knee, while defender Antony Gerrard is another injury concern for boss Mark Robins.

Gerrard sustained a groin injury against Derby and could be replaced in the starting line-up by Joel Lynch, but Jonathan Hogg returned to the side following a hip injury and is expected to resume in midfield.

Duane Holmes is pushing for a starting berth after two impressive substitute appearances, but skipper Peter Clarke (knee) remains a long-term absentee.

Yeovil manager Gary Johnson could ring the changes.

Right-back Luke Ayling is set to return after he sat out the heavy Boxing Day defeat at Bournemouth through suspension, with Sam Foley and James Hayter among Johnson's other options.

Byron Webster is unlikely to return to the side as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury he sustained in Yeovil's recent loss to Blackburn.

Johnson's men, without a win in four league games, are bidding to avoid a third straight defeat.
