Hogg banned for Huddersfield
Huddersfield will be without suspended midfielder Jonathan Hogg for their home game against Watford.
Hogg was sent off for two yellow-card offences in last week's FA Cup defeat to Reading and sits out a one-game ban, so Jacob Butterfield could return to the starting line-up.
Centre-half Joel Lynch looks set to end his five-week injury lay-off by returning to contention following a groin injury, but fellow defender Murray Wallace is doubtful after being forced out of the Reading cup-tie with a hamstring strain.
Manager Chris Powell must decide whether to retain James Vaughan and Nahki Wells up front and Adam Hammill on the wing as Town chase back-to-back home league wins.
Watford hope to welcome back goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes and winger Ikechi Anya.
Gomes has resumed training after missing Sunday's cup defeat by Chelsea with a groin problem, and Anya is due to train on Friday having sat out at Stamford Bridge with a knee injury.
Striker Fernando Forestieri, who played the full 90 minutes against the Blues, needs a fitness check on a hamstring problem.
Defenders Joel Ekstrand (back) and Gabriel Tamas (cruciate) are still missing through injury.
