Jack's not in the Hunt

Huddersfield are expected to be without Jack Hunt for the vital home match against Peterborough.

The defender went off injured during Tuesday night's defeat away at Bolton and requires a scan to find out the full extent of the damage.

With Hunt highly unlikely to play any part against Posh, Calum Woods is expected to fill-in at right-back.

Town remain without midfielder Adam Clayton, who serves the final game of his two-match ban after accumulating 10 yellow cards throughout the campaign.

Elsewhere, midfielder Keith Southern is nearing a return from his Achilles problem but will not feature at the weekend.

The Terriers go into the game in the relegation zone on goal difference and lie just one point ahead of the visitors, who are in 23rd.

Michael Bostwick remains a doubt for Peterborough.

Midfielder Bostwick, who has been playing as a centre-half, was forced off with a hamstring injury during the second half of Posh's 1-0 win at Blackpool prior to the international break and the problem has ruled him out of the last two games against Cardiff and Middlesbrough.

Manager Darren Ferguson will continue to check on Bostwick before the crucial clash.

Florent Cuvelier was included in both squads against Cardiff and Boro but the on-loan Stoke midfielder did not make it off the bench in either game and will hope to make his Peterborough debut at the John Smith's Stadium.

On-loan midfielder Alex Pritchard (ankle) is still not fit.
