James Vaughan unavailable for Huddersfield's clash with MK Dons

Huddersfield will be without suspended striker James Vaughan for their home game against MK Dons.

Vaughan was shown a straight red card in the last minute of Saturday's goalless draw at Ipswich for throwing the ball in the face of Ipswich left-back Jonas Knudsen in only his second appearance of the season.

Manager Chris Powell has no other new injury concerns, but will be without Jonathan Hogg again after the midfielder missed out at the weekend due to an unspecified injury.

Powell must decide whether to recall goalkeeper Joe Murphy, who has recovered from a calf injury, or stick with Aston Villa loanee Jed Steer.

The Dons arrive in Yorkshire without any new problems.

Milton Keynes manager Karl Robinson, seeking successive league wins for the first time this season, could name an unchanged team following the 3-0 victory at home to Blackburn on Saturday.

Should he wish to make changes, however, they will most probably be in midfield and attacking positions and the likes of Carl Baker, Sam Gallagher, Samir Carruthers and Daniel Powell could come into Robinson's thinking.

Darren Potter is closing in on a return from a knee injury and the midfielder, who the club announced on Monday had signed a new contract until 2017, reckons he might be back in contention for the weekend trip to QPR.
