Terriers duo return

Huddersfield pair Jermaine Beckford and Neil Danns are expected to return to the starting line-up against Crystal Palace.

Striker Beckford and midfielder Danns, both on loan from Leicester, were not given permission to play by their parent club when the two sides clashed in the FA Cup last weekend.

Danns will be hoping to face one of his former clubs as managerless Town chase their first league win in 13 matches.

Joint-caretaker managers Mark Lillis and Steve Eyre, taking charge of their second match following last week's sacking of Simon Grayson, will be without defender Joel Lynch (hamstring), midfielder Keith Southern (Achilles) and winger Danny Ward (foot) again.

Winger Sean Scannell, a second-half substitute in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Leicester, is another player hoping to face his former club.

Lillis and Eyre, who have no new injury or suspension worries, must decide whether to keep young midfielder Jordon Sinnott in the side after he made his first-team debut at the weekend.

Wilfried Zaha plays his first game for Palace since agreeing his big move to Manchester United.

The highly-rated winger will officially join United in the summer after Palace secured his services on loan until the end of the season to boost their promotion bid.

Boss Ian Holloway can add Jazz Richards to his squad after landing the defender on loan from Swansea.

But fellow loanee Alex Nimely, from Manchester City, is out with a hamstring injury suffered against Bolton.

Paddy McCarthy, Joel Ward (both groin) and Owen Garvan (knee) are also on the sick list while Kagisho Dikgacoi is on African Nations Cup duty.

Holloway has let midfielder David Wright leave for Colchester and loaned young striker Kwesi Appiah to Yeovil.
