Terriers want Jazz on board

Huddersfield are hoping to receive international clearance in time for Jazz Richards to make his debut for the club against Charlton.

Swansea defender Richards joined the Terriers last week on a loan deal until January, but missed Saturday's goalless draw with Doncaster due to outstanding paperwork.

Calum Woods made his first start of the season at the weekend and is expected to continue should Richards remain sidelined, while striker Jon Stead is pushing for his first start of the season after an impressive second-half showing against Doncaster.

Manager Mark Robins has no new injury or suspension problems, but midfielders Keith Southern (calf) and Anton Robinson (knee) are still out.

Yann Kermorgant is a doubt for Charlton ahead of the trip to Huddersfield.

The striker, who has scored three goals this season, limped off during the second half of Saturday's 1-1 draw at Watford with an ankle injury.

Youngster Joe Pigott came on for Kermorgant but Marvin Sordell or recent signing Cameron Stewart are other options for boss Chris Powell if the Frenchman is ruled out.

Richard Wood will continue at centre-half should Leon Cort fail to shake off the knock which sidelined him at Vicarage Road while full-back Chris Solly is still struggling with a knee injury.
