Duo banned for Terriers

Huddersfield will be without suspended defenders Joel Lynch and Peter Clarke for their home game against Brighton.

Both players were sent off for two yellow card offences in last week's defeat at Derby so Tommy Smith, Murray Wallace and Paul Dixon are all vying for a starting place in defence.

Manager Mark Robins has no new injury concerns, but striker James Vaughan is out for the rest of the season following knee surgery and midfielder Keith Southern has only just returned to training after a groin problem.

Town, six points above the relegation zone, have lost their last three matches and are chasing their first win in 10.

Brighton are hopeful defender Matt Upson will be fit.

The former England international is struggling with knee and ankle injuries and will be handed a late fitness test ahead of the trip to Yorkshire.

Goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak is set to return after missing last weekend's 3-0 win over Charlton through illness.

But wingers Will Buckley (hamstring) and Andrea Orlandi (thigh) will miss out again along with midfielder Andrew Crofts, who is recovering from a long-term knee injury.
