Same again for Terriers

Huddersfield boss Chris Powell could select his starting line-up for the home game against Blackpool from an unchanged squad.

Powell has no new injury concerns, but it remains unlikely that striker Martin Paterson (knee) and defender Anthony Gerrard (calf) will be involved.

James Vaughan is "weeks" away from a return to action due to the calf injury that has kept the forward sidelined since mid-September.

Powell must decide whether to recall Lee Peltier - relieved of captain's duties this week in preference to Mark Hudson - or retain Tommy Smith at right-back as Town bid to extend their unbeaten run to four matches.

The international break came at the right time for a Blackpool side hoping to welcome back a host of players.

On-loan goalkeeper Joe Lewis missed the win over his parent club Cardiff, which was the Seasiders' first in six months, under the terms of his contract and looks set to displace Elliot Parish between the sticks.

Ex-Terriers defender Peter Clarke has declared himself well again after suffering from a twisted colon in recent weeks while midfielder Jose Miguel Cubero (ankle) turned down the chance to go away with Costa Rice to work on his fitness.

Midfielder Andrea Orlandi returned to his native Spain for treatment on a foot problem, but Gary MacKenzie (knee) and Steven Davies (groin) have long-term problems while Joan Oriol limped off in the first half of the win over the Bluebirds.
