Double worry for Terriers

Huddersfield strikers James Vaughan and Jermaine Beckford both remain doubtful for the home game with Blackburn.

Beckford, on loan from Leicester, missed Saturday's home win over Bristol City with a hamstring strain and joint top goalscorer Vaughan sat out the same match following a recurrence of a thigh injury sustained during training on Friday.

Forward Sean Scannell was supported by midfielder Adam Clayton and winger Adam Hammill up front in the pair's absence at the weekend and those three are likely to continue if Beckford and Vaughan fail late fitness tests.

Huddersfield will also be without right-back Jack Hunt, who serves the second game of his two-match ban, so Calum Woods is set to deputise again, while manager Simon Grayson has no other new injury or suspension problems.

Midfielder Oscar Gobern remains the only long-term absentee as he recovers from ankle surgery.

Henning Berg has no new injury worries.

Berg got off to an unhappy start as Rovers manager courtesy of a 2-0 defeat at Crystal Palace on Saturday, although Simon Vukcevic and Markus Olsson both came through unscathed on their returns from respective groin and hamstring problems.

Adam Henley was preferred to Bradley Orr at right-back and Berg lauded the 18-year-old following his first appearances of the season.

"I must say young Adam Henley did well," the 43-year-old told Blackburn's official website. "He showed that he's got great pace and had many interceptions inside and outside the box. He had a good game, he hasn't played for a long time."

Veteran midfielder David Dunn (calf) remains on the sidelines along with Jason Lowe and Fabio Nunes (hamstring).

Striker Jordan Rhodes faces his former club for the first time since leaving the Terriers for #8million in August, although Nuno Gomes may not be able to join him in attack having picked up a minor knock in training on the eve of the trip to Selhurst Park.
