Huddersfield absentees increase ahead of Plymouth trip

Huddersfield will be without in-form midfielder Damien Johnson for their trip to Plymouth.

Johnson, a virtual ever-present for Town since arriving on loan from Plymouth in the summer, is not eligible to play against his parent club. But winger Lee Croft will return to contention after missing last week's win over Southampton due to a one-game ban.

Manager Lee Clark is hoping injury doubts Anthony Pilkington (hamstring) and Lee Peltier (calf) will be passed fit after both players were withdrawn from last weekend's win over Southampton.

But goalkeeper Alex Smithies (thigh), winger Gary Roberts (broken arm) along with defenders Gary Naysmith (foot) and Tom Clarke (knee) remain sidelined as the Terriers chase a third successive league win.
