Gudjonsson winning fitness race
Huddersfield manager Lee Clark expects Joey Gudjonsson to shake off a hamstring strain in time to face Charlton.
The Iceland international was forced out of last Saturday's home draw with Peterborough after stepping off the bench as a half-time replacement for on-loan Bolton striker Danny Ward.
Defender Liam Ridehalgh missed out against Posh with the foot injury he sustained in the previous win at Tranmere, but Gary Naysmith completed a successful return to action to boost Clark's back four last weekend following a knee injury.
Goalkeeper Alex Smithies remains sidelined with a knee injury, so veteran Ian Bennett will continue.
Winger Anthony Pilkington (ankle/leg) and midfielder Damien Johnson (knee ligaments) remain long-term absentees.
The Terriers are level on points with second-placed Southampton, who have a game in hand, with five matches remaining.
