Gud news for Town

Joey Gudjonsson is expected to return to Huddersfield's starting line-up for their clash at automatic promotion rivals Bournemouth. The Icelandic midfielder missed last week's goalless draw at Oldham through illness but has since returned to full training. Town's leading goalscorer Jordan Rhodes could also return to the squad after missing the last four games due to an ankle injury, while fellow forward Alan Lee is fit to play despite sustaining a head injury against Oldham. Town manager Lee Clark has no new injury or suspension problems, but goalkeeper Alex Smithies (knee), defender Liam Ridehalgh (glandular fever), plus midfielders Tom Clarke (ankle) and Damien Johnson (knee) all remain sidelined. Newcastle defender Tamas Kadar has returned to St James' Park after the expiry of his one-month loan spell. Town, third in the table, trail second-placed Bournemouth by three points but have a game in hand.
