Garner heads back to Forest

Nottingham Forest striker Joe Garner has returned to the City Ground following his loan spell at Huddersfield. The 22-year-old joined the League One club in the summer and made 18 appearances without scoring a goal. "Joe Garner's deal has now ended and we will be not extending his stay at the club," Huddersfield boss Lee Clark told the club's official website. "We thank him for his efforts. Joe Garner has played important roles in some good victories for us this season, so his efforts are appreciated. "But as a goalscorer you are judged on goals and I need someone that will help Jordan Rhodes in the goalscoring stakes."
