Huddersfield new boy Lee Croft is relishing the start of the new season with a club he believes is on the up. The winger has joined the Terriers on a six-month loan deal from Derby in order to help the Yorkshire club push for promotion in this season's npower League One campaign, which starts at recently promoted Notts County on Saturday. Croft hopes to establish himself at the Galpharm Stadium, and although he does not know what will happen once his loan deal ends in January, his immediate focus is on the clash at Meadow Lane. "I've had a brilliant pre-season here, I've really enjoyed my time with the lads and it's been great to link up again with the gaffer (Lee Clark), who I worked with at Norwich," Croft told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner. "My aim is to enjoy my football again, to help the other lads as much as possible and, hopefully, to play my part in getting us all to where we want to be - it's all about having a really progressive six months. "I think we've got a squad which can push for the play-offs and automatic promotion because the gaffer has got great ambition and, like myself, he wants to be involved at the highest level possible."
