Croft banned for Terriers
Huddersfield will be without suspended winger Lee Croft for the home clash with Southampton and goalkeeper Alex Smithies is still sidelined.
But Anthony Pilkington and Lee Novak, both rated doubtful earlier in the week with respective back and hamstring injuries, will be in contention.
Croft was sent off for two yellow card offences in last week's win at Colchester, while Smithies recently pulled out of the England Under-21s squad with a leg injury. Ian Bennett will continue to deputise in goal.
The Terriers will also have midfielder Scott Arfield back from Scotland Under-21s duty, but he may have to settle for a place on the substitutes' bench.
Winger Gary Robers (broken arm) and defenders Gary Naysmith (foot) and Tom Clarke (knee) remain long-term absentees.
