Clarke banned for Terriers

Huddersfield manager Lee Clark is without defender Peter Clarke for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Area semi-final against Tranmere. Clarke received his fifth booking of the season in the 2-1 win over Brighton at the weekend and serves a one-match ban. Nathan Clarke or Liam Ridehalgh could deputise at centre-half while former Tranmere man Antony Kay is another option. Clark could also be without left-back Graham Carey and midfielder Damien Johnson, who picked up knocks in an aggressive encounter against the leaders on Saturday. Arsenal loanee Benik Afobe is unavailable for the trip after the striker returned to his parent club for an FA Youth Cup tie. Defenders Gary Naysmith and Tom Clarke returned to training last week and could be added to the squad while fit-again striker Lee Novak is likely to occupy the bench again.
