Clark supports Croft
Lee Croft has received support from manager Lee Clark after being dealt another blow during his "stop-start time" at Huddersfield.
Winger Croft, drafted in on loan from Derby during the summer, made only his third league appearance of the season when replacing Anthony Pilkington early in the second half in Saturday's 3-0 win at Colchester, but was sent off in the 82nd minute for two yellow card offences.
Terriers manager Clark said: "It was harsh, but that's the way it is now. Cards are given out so easily, but unfortunately that's the law.
"Lee mis-timed two tackles and I've no complaints over his red card. It's another continuation of his stop-start time here so far.
"Lee has done a lot of work over the last couple of weeks to get rid of a little excess weight I think he has been carrying.
"He has done that brilliantly and I think he showed signs of what a direct winger he is. He's a little bit different to the other wingers we have here. This means he will miss another game, which unfortunately for him it means he'll spend a little more time with (performance coach Steve Black) Blackie!"
