Clark reveals Gunners spur

Huddersfield boss Lee Clark claimed Sunday's impressive performance against Arsenal in the FA Cup laid the foundations for his side`s 2-0 home win over Carlisle. Winger Gary Roberts scored twice in five minutes just before half-time as the in-form Terriers made it four wins from their last five league outings. Clark said: "I said to the players that they can take great confidence from the Arsenal game. It's impossible to play like that in every game. But they deserved great credit for the way they played against a top top team. "It was great that it carried on. I'm very happy with the win and the clean sheet. The players put in another great shift. They did a massive amount of running on Sunday and again here. "That's a tribute to their fitness levels. I think though that it's one of the reasons that towards the end we were having problems with some of them due to fatigue. A few of them, like Anthony Pilkington and Joey Gudjonsson cramped up. We just hope it's down to a lack of recovery time. "Ian Bennett made some great saves before we scored. That's why I had no issue in giving him an extra year on his contract. He's a marvellous keeper."
