Clark: Promotion race will go to the wire
Huddersfield manager Lee Clark believes his side's automatic promotion bid could be decided on the last day of the season.
The Terriers consolidated in second place on Sunday as their 3-0 home win over Notts County lifted them four points clear of third place, but Peterborough and Southampton have both played fewer games.
Clark, whose side have seven matches left, said: "I want us to win them all, but even if we do it still might not be enough.
"Southampton have games in hand and Peterborough are also going very well. It could go right to the wire."
Town missed out on promotion in the play-offs last season, but Clark added: "We're are better equipped as a squad this time because we have the experience and desire."
