Clark points finger at Poyet

Huddersfield manager Lee Clark blasted opposite number Gus Poyet for his touchline antics as Town triumphed 2-1 in a top-of-the-table clash which threatened to boil over following a controversial first-half penalty. Town skipper Peter Clarke brought down Glenn Murray in the area, with Poyet making a `red card' gesture to the fourth official and referee Andy Haines. Clarke was only shown a yellow card, and the Terriers boss said: "Peter is adamant he got the ball first, though I haven't yet seen footage of the incident. "My main concern, though, is that I was a little bit disappointed by the reaction of my opposite number. He went around waving an imaginary red card. "I've got a lot of respect for Gus Poyet. I've played against him at the highest level and he's doing a great job at Brighton. But it's not in my fair play book to go around doing things like that. It can be heated at times and being a manager is difficult enough without waving imaginary red cards around." Murray missed the spot-kick but made amends by toe-poking the visitors into the lead midway through the second half. The lead barely lasted two minutes, though, as Jordan Rhodes levelled before Jamie McCombe grabbed the winner late on.
