Clark makes Morrison move

Huddersfield have completed the signing of Reading defender Sean Morrison on loan until the end of the season. Terriers manager Lee Clark has moved to boost his depleted defence with Morrison, 20, who joined Reading from Swindon in January, providing cover for injured trio Peter Clarke, Jamie McCombe and Antony Kay. Clark said: "Peter Clarke and Jamie McCombe are doing very well at the moment, but Peter has been carrying a back injury for the last couple of games - although from his performances you wouldn't know it. "Antony Kay would be next in line, but he's also sidelined with an ankle injury, so I felt it was necessary to bring another centre-back in. "Sean was of interest to us back in January, but he chose to go to Reading instead. That's understandable; they're a big club and challenging for promotion. We had tracked him for a long time, so we know what he's all about, so when he became available we decided to move for him. "He's a very big, strong lad who is dominant in the air, but he's also a good footballer when he has the time to play. His long throw will be a valuable attacking asset during the run-in too."
