Clark hails Terriers

Huddersfield boss Lee Clark paid tribute to his side after they underlined their promotion credentials with a 1-0 win at Bristol Rovers. Jordan Rhodes rifled home from the edge of the box after only five minutes to score the winner but then saw a 54th-minute penalty saved by Conrad Logan. Rhodes was drafted into the side late on after Gary Roberts was ruled out with a stomach complaint. Clark said: "I thought we played some good football going forward and the result could have been beyond doubt before we came under a lot of pressure in the closing stages. Gary Roberts went down with a stomach complaint so we had to make a change. "But Jordan Rhodes did well and contributions from three of our substitutes also showed what a strong squad we have. "We are in a very good position now but the league table only counts for something at the end of the season and we have to keep going."
