Clark gutted by defeat
Huddersfield manager Lee Clark was "absolutely gutted" after his side missed the chance to go second when they crashed 1-0 against Hartlepool.
Antony Sweeney hit the winner just before the interval and Town were denied by a string of fine second-half saves from Pools' on-loan Blackburn goalkeeper Jake Keane.
Clark added: "Well done to Mick Wadsworth and his players. They have done a terrific job but this is a hard one to take for me.
"It's about winning games and we have given away a massive opportunity to go into the top two.
"I expect my team to pick up points at home but all credit to Hartlepool."
