Huddersfield have parted company with manager Chris Powell.
Powell, appointed in September 2014, has overseen just three league wins this season, with Tuesday night's 2-2 draw at Reading leaving Town 18th in the Sky Bet Championship table.
The club announced the news on Wednesday morning via their Twitter feed, saying: "Chris Powell has left his role as #htafc manager with immediate effect after his contract was ended; statement to follow shortly."
