Bulls remain in hunt for Ainsworth

Hereford are continuing their pursuit of Huddersfield winger Lionel Ainsworth. Bulls manager Simon Davey has made enquiries about bringing Ainsworth back to Edgar Street. "I've spoken to Huddersfield and to Lionel's representatives and we are trying to sort something out," Davey told the Hereford Times. "We're not quite there yet, but he is somebody we would like to bring in to the football club. But, like many transfers, there are a lot of complications in them and this one is complicated. "Hopefully we can get something done." Ainsworth, 22, spent five months with Hereford after joining on a free transfer from Derby in the summer of 2007 and later had a two-month loan spell at Edgar Street after he was sold to Watford.
