Bournemouth 1-1 Huddersfield: Report

Cool Cadamarteri saves Terriers Super-sub Danny Cadamarteri struck a late leveller as Huddersfield drew 1-1 in their top-of-the-table clash with Bournemouth. His strike cancelled out Michael Symes` 74th-minute goal which looked to have won it for the Cherries. Goalkeeper Ian Bennett's heroics had earlier denied Bournemouth victory. He pulled off two fine first-half saves to deny Marc Pugh and then, with an hour gone, produced a stunning fingertip effort to turn a goal-bound free kick from the Bournemouth wideman over the bar. Bournemouth generally bossed the game and eventually broke through in the 74th minute. Liam Feeney, becoming increasingly more effective on the right, landed a pin-point cross on the head of Symes, who scored for the third match in a row. It looked to be a winner but, 90 seconds from time, Cadamarteri burst through on the right, drew goalkeeper Ahwan Jalal and scored the equaliser.
