Arfield keen to kick on

Midfielder Scott Arfield is aiming to maintain his excellent recent form after scoring his first goal for Huddersfield last weekend. After helping Scotland Under-21s qualify for the European Championship play-offs, Arfield then returned to his club side and found the net in the Terriers' 2-1 win at Leyton Orient. "It was a great week for me in terms of international football, as we set out to get Scotland in the European Championship play-offs and did. Saturday was the icing on the cake," Arfield told the club's official website. "I was glad to get the goal and get us off to a great start. "It was funny because when we came out ahead of the game to look at the pitch Lee Croft told me I would score from near that area - and I did!" "Teams like Orient are hard to break down - especially at home - but our fans came in numbers on Saturday and got right behind us. Thankfully we sent them back up the road happy."
