Huddersfield striker Jordan Rhodes has been ruled out for at least a month after damaging ankle ligaments. Rhodes, 20, the club's leading scorer this season with 16 goals, was forced out of Saturday's 0-0 draw with Colchester after sustaining the injury shortly before half-time. Town manager Lee Clark said: "It's not good news regarding Jordan. Thankfully he hasn't broken any bones, but he's suffered serious ligament damage to his ankle. "It looks likely Jordan will be out for at least a month. He rolled his ankle when he attempted to take a shot and has gone over badly on it. "It's very disappointing to lose our top striker, but we have to move on and cope without him. Sadly, we have been hit quite badly with injuries lately, which is unfortunate, but we can cope." Striker Benik Afobe and Tamas Kadar, on loan from Arsenal and Newcastle respectively, goalkeeper Alex Smithies, defenders Gary Naysmith, Leigh Franks and Liam Ridehalgh and midfielder Damien Johnson all missed out on Saturday through injury.
