Since the formation of the team in 1945 the club spent their time in the Notts junior league and won their first honour in 1963, the Notts junior cup. The club then gained entry into the Notts alliance league in 1970. The club won the division two in their first season and then won the league and cup double which gained them a place up to the senior division.
