Pat Fenlon's side sit joint top of the Scottish Premier League with Celtic, who they face at Parkhead on Saturday, and are desperate to continue to revel in the feel-good factor brought about by a draw with Hearts and victories over St Mirren and St Johnstone. However, following wins away to Cowdenbeath and Ayr United on their way to last season's Scottish Cup final hammering from rivals Hearts, Wotherspoon is under no illusions how difficult it will be for Hibs as their Second Division hosts eye a cup shock. With Rangers struggling to draws against Peterhead and Berwick Rangers in recent weeks, the 22-year-old said:
"We're four games into the season and we've only lost one and we've won a couple, so it's about trying to keep the confidence high and keeping things going. "But going to the lower leagues is always difficult. There's no way Queen of the South will be a bad team, they'll be working hard and they'll be out there to cause an upset. "We'll just have to do the same thing and stay focused, and put our heart and determination into the game to try and get a win. "We've been there and done it, when we played Cowdenbeath and Ayr United last season, and hopefully we can continue that form down in the lower leagues.
"But you see Rangers going down there this season and drawing with Berwick, whereas when we played them last season in the League Cup we beat them 5-0 at home. "So, it's definitely going to be a difficult game and we have to be at our best to get the win."
