Trakys aiming for return

Valdas Trakys hopes to return to fitness in time for Hibernian's Clydesdale Bank Premier League match with St Mirren on Saturday. The Lithuania striker has missed the last two matches due to a calf injury and is yet to score for Hibs since signing as a free agent in September. "I injured my calf in the last minute of the Motherwell game," Trakys said in the Edinburgh Evening News. "I have not been able to run in the field but I have been on the cross-trainer and the bicycle so at least I have been able to do some things on my own. "I hope to be fit to play this weekend. It has been frustrating to miss games with a stupid injury just when I had got into the team and was getting fit."
