Interim coach Alistair Stevenson has told the Hibernian players they cannot afford to let anyone down as they bid to turn round their season in the wake of the departure of John Hughes. Hughes left the club after Hibs won just one of their opening 10 matches of the season. Hibs host Kilmarnock on Saturday looking for their first win at Easter Road since they beat the Ayrshire club 1-0 more than seven months ago. Under-19s coach Stevenson has stressed to the players they cannot afford to extend that record much longer. Stevenson, who will lead the team alongside Gareth Evans, said: "I don`t know if anyone feels they have let anyone down. What I have been saying is we can`t afford now to let anyone down. We can`t afford to let ourselves down, to let the club down, to let the fans down. It has got nothing to do with what happened in the past but we can`t afford to let anyone down now. "They have got to give everything they have got and results will start to follow. We`re making demands of them and our demands on Saturday will be to give everything, to play for each other, to play for the fans and to get a bit of pride. But I`m not insinuating that didn`t happen before."
