Stack sets sights on long run

Graham Stack is "desperate" to keep hold of the Hibernian goalkeeper's jersey after helping the team to three consecutive victories since his return from a back injury.

The Irishman has only conceded one goal in those three wins, which came from the penalty spot against Kilmarnock.

When asked if he is in pole position to become Hibs' first choice keeper, Stack said: "We'll have to wait and see - I don't know yet. The boss is the one that makes the decisions."

He added: "But I'd like to think that I've given him something to think about.

"I've come in and played three games and we've won three. I'd like to think I've brought something to the side.

"Obviously at St Mirren I didn't have a great deal to do, but there is a lot more to goalkeeping than just making saves.

"I'm desperate to play again at the weekend against Inverness.

"But the decision lies with the manager and it is one I will respect and we'll go from there."
