SPL to investigate pitch invasion
Hearts face action after Derek Riordan's winner for Hibernian sparked a pitch invasionm, with several fans coming on to the pitch as Riordan celebrated the only goal of the game in front of home fans in the Wheatfield Stand.[LNB]Hibs defender Ian Murray also told his colleagues he had been struck by a coin in the aftermath of Riordan's 79th minute penalty.[LNB]An SPL spokesman said: "The first step for us is to review our match delegate's report from the game.[LNB]"From there, we will be in touch with both clubs to investigate further."[LNB]Lothian and Borders Police later revealed two people had been arrested and 15 ejected from the ground during the course of the game, with two people, both male, expected to appear in court in Edinburgh later on Friday.[LNB]Former Scotland boss Craig Brown was the match delegate at Tynecastle and the SPL expect to receive his report by early next week at the very latest.[LNB]Hearts managing director Campbell Ogilvie, a vice-president of the Scottish Football Association, vowed the club would launch their own probe.[LNB]He said: "The club will fully investigate the incident and will take the necessary action against any supporter found guilty of an offence.[LNB]"This type of irresponsible behaviour will not be tolerated."[LNB][LNB]
