Frustrated Hibernian manager Mixu Paatelainen thought his side deserved to take all three points from Sunday's trip to Dundee United.
Dean Shiels had given the visitors the lead, only for the Terrors to secure a share of the spoils when Thierry Gathuessi gave away a penalty.
"I thought that we should have won the game," said the Hibs boss.
"Their penalty kick was a little soft, but our defender could have done a bit better in that situation.
"We had numerous occasions when we should have scored but all credit to their goalkeeper.
"I must say that my players played well and should have won the game, but unfortunately we didn't."
