Shiels set to stay

Hibernian boss John Collins insists he does not want to let Dean Shiels leave Easter Road this summer.

The 22-year-old Northern Ireland international has been linked with a summer switch to Aberdeen or Falkirk, but Collins is keen to keep him in Edinburgh.

He told the Daily Record: "He is certainly wanted here. I haven't heard from the manager of any other club and I haven't phoned any."

Shiels added: "I want to stay at Hibs, that's all that matters to me. As long as I'm wanted here I'll stay."
