Scott still motivated

Martin Scott insists there will be no shortage of motivation on his part as Hibernian prepare for their first bottom-six finale in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League for seven years.

Hibs are safe from relegation and begin their post-split fixtures at home to St Mirren on Sunday on the back of the disappointing home defeat by bottom club Hamilton.

But midfielder Scott remains determined to prove himself at Easter Road following his January move from Ross County, and told Hibernian TV: "I've certainly got self-motivation - I want to play in every game I can for Hibs and establish myself here."

He added: "Hopefully I can kick on, improve and try to get better for the start of next season.

"I'm really delighted with my move to Easter Road; everything has gone well.

Scott continued: "St Mirren probably know our strengths and we know their strengths.

"But same again we'll be going out to get all three points and to try and finish with as many points as we can before the end of the season."
