Rovers wrap up Shiels switch

Shiels finalised personal terms and passed a medical at the Keepmoat Stadium on Monday.[LNB]Shiels, 24, moves to South Yorkshire from the SPL side, with whom he has made over 100 appearances and scored 24 goals.[LNB]Shiels took a break from football in 2006 after receiving surgery to remove his right eye, which had been blind since a domestic accident when he was seven years-old. [LNB]However he returned to first-team action with Hibs later in the same year.[LNB]"I'm delighted with the move. I had four-and-a-half years with Hibernian and this was an exciting challenge. I can't wait to get started," Shiels told the club's official website.[LNB]"The style of football was on of the things that attracted me to Doncaster and the chance to work with Sean O'Driscoll was another one.[LNB]"I know the Club is ambitious and I think it was a perfect choice for me."[LNB][LNB]
