Riordan seals Chinese move

Former Hibs striker Derek Riordan - a summer transfer target for Blackburn - has joined Chinese Super League side Shaanxi Chanba[LNB] Riordan flew out to China to hold talks with Chanba about a possible move to the club.[LNB]Riordan was available on a free transfer after leaving Hibs earlier this summer and the Scotland international has now agreed a two-year deal with Chanba after passing a medical.[LNB]Riordan's agent, Jim McArthur, has confirmed the forward was impressed by Chanba's set-up and is looking forward to his new challenge in China.[LNB]"Derek has signed a two-year deal with Chanba," McArthur told skysports.com.[LNB]"He was very impressed with the club when he saw the set-up and the facilities.[LNB]"He is looking forward to the experience of playing in China and it is an exciting time for him."
