Riordan disciplined by Hibs
Reports suggest Riordan spent the night in the cells after being refused entry to nightclub.[LNB]Lothian and Borders Police confirmed a 26-year-old man was arrested for breach of the peace and later released from custody after paying a fixed penalty fine.[LNB]A statement on the club's website read: "Hibernian today confirmed that Derek Riordan has been disciplined by the club following an incident in Edinburgh over the weekend.[LNB]"While the incident itself was a minor offence of disorder in nature, the club does not condone or accept the player's behaviour on this occasion.[LNB]"The disciplinary action taken, details of which will remain private between the club and the player, followed a meeting with chief executive Scott Lindsay and manager John Hughes."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
