Striker picks up heel injury Hibs striker Darryl Duffy has been handed the disappointing news that he faces a further two weeks out. The Bristol Rovers player signed in the summer on a year-long loan deal and has yet to make an appearance. Duffy, 26, broke his metatarsal while he trained at the Hibees East Mains Training Facility, as he geared up for his debut in the 1-1 draw with Inverness in Early September. It has now been revealed that Duffy was on course to feature against St Mirren on Saturday (A game that’s now been called off due the severe weather conditions), but he has picked up an injury to his heel as he stepped up his conditioning work for his comeback. The Scotland B international has now been given an injection, which will see him miss at least another two weeks of the season.
