O'Connor set to sign

The 21-year-old has scored nine times for the third-placed SPL side this season, but his current deal runs out at the end of next season.

O'Connor's agent Gary McKay said: "Talks are at a relatively progressed stage.

"All parties want the same thing, but it is about making both manager Tony Mowbray and Garry O'Connor happy with the terms of a new contract."

Boss Mowbray added: "We are hopeful it will get done. Garry is like a number of young players who we want to tie up and, as I have said before, we want to build a team here."
