Hibernian have signed Kilmarnock striker Colin Nish on a pre-contract agreement which will see the player head to Easter Road in the summer.
The 26-year-old is out of contract with Killie at the end of the season and has opted against extending his stay at Rugby Park.
Killie boss Jim Jefferies confirmed: "We got informed of that on Wednesday morning.
"Players are now allowed to go at the end of their contracts and he's had a few offers and he's agreed to go to Hibernian.
"I don't think any player intentionally goes out to particularly concentrate on where they're going, but I think subconsciously it does affect their performances and we'll just have to wait and see if it does affect him."
Nish has been with Killie since the summer of 2003, scoring 46 goals in 161 appearances for the club.
