Mixu questions stewarding

Hibernian manager Mixu Paatelainen has criticised the levels of security at Tynecastle after his side's 1-0 Edinburgh derby victory over Hearts.

Derek Riordan's penalty winner on Thursday night led to a pitch invasion by Hearts supporters and Paatelainen was unhappy with the stewarding.

Earlier in the game, Hibs defender Ian Murray was also struck by a missile thrown from the crowd.

"I must say I felt there was quite a small number of stewards on that far side. I was surprised by that, knowing it is a derby match and a volatile atmosphere," said Paatelainen.

"It's disappointing to see that happening, player safety is the most important thing.

"Thankfully it was put under control very quickly.

"I wasn't really worried. I always trust that our players are a bit quicker and fitter than their supporters. Maybe not braver."
